Non-Licensed Miliwave
On October 16, 2003, the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) authorised commercial licensing rules for this very high frequency spectrum. These new ultra-high frequency bands are the only ones that allow wireless fibre-equivalent speeds with reliability similar to terrestrial fiber. Users pay a nominal one-time fee for a point-to-point license that has a 10-year term.

Licensed Microwave is the wireless connectivity choice where link reliability is critical. Designed to work with Ethernet networks, Licensed Microwave offers Carrier-Grade high-availability, long-distance wireless connectivity for bandwidth intensive applications.

Free Space Optics (FSO)
If you are looking to provide data or telephony connectivity across a point-to-point link or wide area network then there really is no easier or cost-effective alternative to a free space optics wireless system.

Radio Frequency (RF)
An alternative option to optical wireless is radio 802.11. Offering typical operating distances up to 10km (ETSI) and bandwidth speeds of up to 300Mbps. RF solutions are particularly useful when there is little or no line of-sight present between locations that need connecting. Where other products are hampered by buildings, trees, small hills, or adverse weather, these products work around the obstacles to make the connection.
